Riccardo Ciucci
Computer engineering student from Livorno
Hello world, I’m Riccardo, a computer engineering student at the University of Pisa and honor student at the Sant’Anna School of Advanced studies, where I currently live, originally from Livorno.
My core stack revolves around PHP, Docker, JavaScript, Python, ASP.NET Core, and C#, though I’ve also spent a good amount of time with Podman, C/C++, Linux, and IoT boards like Arduinos and ESPs.
I enjoy working across the full spectrum: from low-level hardware tinkering to building and deploying full web applications. Open source was a cornerstone of my growth as a developer, and that’s a debt I take seriously: all my projects live publicly on GitHub, and I intend to keep it that way.
Cybersecurity
During my first year of university I fell headfirst into cybersecurity and the CTF world. I’m a member of the BeautifulSSSUP team, and at my very first real CTF competition, my University of Pisa team placed third nationwide - a result that only deepened my obsession with the field.
My main strengths are web-based challenges, reverse engineering, and OSINT, though I’m always looking to push into new territory.
Personal life
You're never given a dream without also being given the power to make it true
Sport
I practiced Triple jump and Long jump for many years before starting university. Despite not competing anymore I remain a huge Track and Field enjoyer.
My best results can be found on Atletica.me
Hobbies
As every engineer, I grew up playing with LEGO and, to this day as an adult, I can proudly say I’m still a fan.
